Recently, if you flip the papers or tune in to the news, most probably you would be reading the same headlines.
Sze Chuan's Massive Earthquake
A quake that..
happens so out of sudden, buried and injured thousands and thousands of people, flatten the city in minutes, destroy the homes that many dwelled in..
Many many of the devasted faces appeared in the news. Their smiles and laughter seems to be robbed off from their face. It all left with the tear drained face.
I do not know them. I could hardly understand them when they talk (because of the different accent spoke). But somehow, my heart aches.. my eyes welled with tears just by watching the news report. It's just too much a painful sight.
I guess there's no way we can really understand how helpless they are feeling now.
However, on a brighter note.. this tradegy have also displayed how strong a person can be. Yes, life can be vunerable. But it can also be incredibly strong. The latest news that I've saw, a man is still alive after being trapped in the rubble for 120 (more or less) hours! An woman has to ampulate her own small feet by herself in the rubble just to survive. There are still many other cases where people are trapped for many hours and yet survived on the minimal water and air. Amazing. Really.
To the brave soldiers out there saving many life at the risk of losing your own life. You are the hero at many people's heart. You had bring hope to the people who are trapped under. You had bring hope to the anxious people waiting for their loves one's safety. You had crossed over the dangerous terrain to bring the survivors food and warmth. You had delivered answers to the family members, even though it might be a bad news.
At this precarious moment, you have bring what the survivors need most.
Hope
I really prayed that all these bad moments would be over soon. The people in Sze Chuan can rebuild their new home and new schools.. and perhaps a smile from their face again...
Light are usually seen ONLY at the end of the tunnel.
