Shopping Spree

I've always heard about Haji Lane that there's a few interesting shops to shop there. But I don't really have the time to go.. well, finally came the chance! I met up with the girls and decided to go on a shopping spree!







The shops are all located at the shophouses. Maybe that's what it makes most of the shops really special. The shops are also nicely dressed up, which further enhance the shopping experience. Well, I was all ready to shop and buy clothes! Who knows.. I didn't spot anything I fancy after walking the whole street. Most of the items are over-priced and it wasn't really nice. What a disappointment! Well, I did in the end walked away with a white top home. LOL. Not my favourite, but it was better than nothing. =p

We then headed to one of the restaurant for some Middle East Cuisine. My 1st time in such a restaurant.. It's a restaurant that is heavily decorated with moroccan lamps, accessories, the orange wall paint.. the musilm customers..







That lump of thing on my left is not a piece of meat.. lol. It's a kind of sauce to go with the 'bread'. I can't remember what is it called though.. Anyway, it looks really weird. Plus I'm not really adventurous for the food that I eat.. Hmm.. it tatse a bit sour.. but overall it still tatse alright la.


As you all know, I really love seafood... SO I ordered this seafood mixed grilled. It looks hot isn't it? But's it not at all. Just the colour...

And after the dinner.. When 3 non-smokers were trying to smoke...






Yesh! That's shisha. You'll see tons of people sitting ard Haji Lane chilling out with a shisha in hand.. The air will smell really fruity and sweet..Well, it really did seems like real fun. So we decided to try! It's our first time trying... And the result?

I was busy choking away by the fumes in my throat! Gosh.. it really taste horrid to me.. never again I'll waste my money on that. LOL. And all of us looks totally uncool and silly.. Hahaha..

Jack and Rong's Wedding

This post is just to add photos for thr previous post of Rong and Jack's Wedding on Christmas. Haha.. Yah.. very late! Me, colly and mic were invited to be few of the 'sisters' of Rong's. It's my first time to attend my friend's wedding and to be a sister. Below are the photos of the day:

....PUSHES and SQUEEZES their way in the moment they reached! Pay extra attention to the 2 guys in grey shirt and red orange strip shirt, who is holding on to the roast pig. Knowing that we can't destroy the pig, so we had to literally allow both of them in the house.. Hmmpf!















































Heh. Look at the 2 guys! They really managed to squeeze in! Arggh!

We qucikly secure back the gate, and chase the remaining guys out of the house! We need to keep them out to secure our ang baos!

The awful dark chocolate! The groom taking the punishment for getting the answer wrong. As the groom was late, we had no choice but to make things quick.. and allow him and his 'brothers' in.

















Colly was fast to hold that guy in strips (is him again playing cheat!) from the bride's room!

















We make jack to kneel down and sing a song before the bride's room. Only after a loud love confession to the bride, Jack was then finally let to fetch the bride.. =)

After the busy day, following that was the dinner.. While I was handed the receptionist job... Ning couldn't bear to see the blur me messing up the guest list, so she decided to help!

Jack's & Rong's wedding

Alright, I've been slacking for a while.. Now I should start blogging again!

Well, as you can guessed.. after the Hen's party, there should be a wedding coming up! Yeap.. it falls on the a Christmas. We've took many photos.. but the ger with the photos, still refused to send us the photos! ><'' So I shall update this post again with more photos of the wedding.. 7.30am
Reached Rong's house

I was almost late. Had quite a late night on x'mas eve. I had a hard time waking up!! Luckily I still make it although I'm the last to reach among the 8 ''sisters''. lol. Well, it started with me & colly preparing the cuisine for Jack. The full course as stated below:


Starter:
freshed sqeezed lemon juice with preserved spicy salted beancurd
--> carefully mixed and mashed

Main Course:
2 sashimi dish::
cut whole red chilli topped with generous wasabe as dressing
--> chilli seeds to maintain
sliced raw bitter gourd, topped with lemon juice and stuffed with lemon seeds
--> bittergourd seeds to maintain

Dessert:
Honey with 8 spoonful of sugar
--> undissolved sugar left for the extra bite


We prepared a list of questions for Jack, while he and his brothers were waiting desperately to get in to the house. Well, the cuisine was served when they got the answers wrong! We had a whole 15 mins of fun, before the guys barged in. *phew.. I told you, they were all violent! The keys were literally snatched from us!

Soon when they entered, we had Jack to kneel and sang ''xiao wei'' before rong's room before we reluctantly let him in.. (that is because we were reminded not to miss the aupicious hour.. =( So no choice! )

We proceed to Jack's house. Following that, is the whole procedeure of serving tea to the elders. Then back to Rong's house for another tea serving. We also had our lunch buffet there. The food was good! Or we were all too hungry! It was 1 plus by then.. n most of the gers had skipped our breakfast.

After lunch, we left Rong's house. We quickly hurried back to our home to freshen up and prepare for the evening's dinner. I was assigned as the receptionist of the night. So I've to be there at 4.30pm.

When the clock strikes 7pm, people starts to come in.. n yeah.. I was so damn busy. People whom I dunno were telling me their names.. while me n the ning were busy spotting their names on the hand scribbed name list looking for their table number. At the same time reminding them to wrote down their names behind the ang baos! Lol. I was told that was the most important thing. =p $$$$$

The tables were filled by 8pm plus.. and my job as receptionist was finally done. The solemization ceromony was just right before the dinner starts. I quickly find my way to my table and awaits for my food! The food turns out to be good. I'd rate 7.5/10

The night was great.. it seems like a mini gathering for our course, DID. I see rare faces whom I've never seen for 2 years. It's a suprised to see them there!

I was already very tired then by the end of the night. But the guys still wants to go to KTV pub. Well, I wasn't working the next day.. and everyone was going.. So I dun really have a choice. We headed on to Pricep street, Gold ** (can't remember the name for now!). We drank, we played, we singed all the way till 3am! Gosh.. I was really so tired by then!

It was an eventful night.. and I had the most special Christmas spent so far. =)

*PS. I'd like to wish the newly wed, Jack and Rong for a sweet & blissful marriage. Well, both of them have found ''the one'' in their life.. isn't that sweet?? ><

Tell me about partying and drinking.. I'm now feeling so sick after the hen's night. I'm so sick of alcohol!! OMG.. do I even know what's im typing abt??!!

I have great fun at the hen's night, n i do hope the the 'bride to be' has also enjoyed herself..=p For some reason, Im extremley tired now.. but Im still blogging away!

Must be the alcohol! Im feeling so damn awake now.. but my body is telling me to sleep.. tml is a sunday (O.. I mean today!) Im so glad.. please do not disturb me in the morn.. after noon then I'll be awake..

I think Im gonna pig all the way!... =p
